Tis’ the season for inflatable vadalism

Tis’ the season for inflatable vandalism…or so it seems. Yesterday alone there were at least five news articles from across the country of inflatable Christmas displays that were vandalized or stolen. Whether you rent Christmas themed bounce houses, or have Christmas inflatables outside your business/home this is something you definitely need to be on the lookout for.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico security footage shows a thief deflating & then stealing three holiday decorations. The three inflatables were around a $300 value. For some reason, although there were many inflatables in the yard, only the three were stolen. You can watch the story here: http://www.koat.com/article/untitled-content-1481602610/. Again in Arizona, a 6 year old’s Star Wars holiday was stolen from the family’s front yard.

In Georgia, five houses in one neighborhood had inflatable decorations stolen out of their yards. In each of the cases the thieves appeared to pick and choose what they were stealing, leaving some decorations behind at each of the houses. And in Virginia, a couple woke up in the morning to find that their holiday inflatables had been vandalized. Christmas trees, snowmen & Santa’s were slashed with a knife. The couple said it was about $4,000 worth of inflatables.

In Rancho Cordova, California, almost a dozen yards had their Christmas decorations vandalized. A inflatable Christmas pig had it’s throat slashed, Yoda & Minions were stabbed in the back, inflatable snow globes, santa & reindeer were deflated & plastic Candy Canes were smashed.
